I know I've been told

that's just makeup he's wearing,

But when he takes the stage

I just can't stop from staring.

 

His muzzle, his whiskers,

Now, what can I say?

but my heart has been lost

to this catman at play.

 

Each year when I see him

my soul's set on fire

{even if mouse-breath

leaves much to desire}.

 

That friend of his, Jamie,

is a fine fellow, too.

And it's a known fact that

they're quite close, those two.

 

But still, it's the furry one

I'm wanting alone...

Please, can I keep him?

He followed me home!

 

So, come up and see me, Myhr,

I mean you no harm.

And if you bring the catnip,

then I'll bring the yarn!
