Some years ago, May 1996 to be exactly, I had the chance to go to my very first foreign convention : the "A moment in Time" convention in Manchester, England.
Believe it or not, the first person that I see there, at my arrival, was Jamie Murray!

What a way to start a convention, right?! :-)

Then, the next day, there was Myhr ...... Wow!
I had seen pictures of him before, but that didn't prepare me : meeting him in person was something else!

When you see him, standing there, right before you, well believe me ... it is unbelievable. It's an experience that you'll never forget. The make up is unbelievable, it's stunning!

Myhr has become a part of these BATB conventions as MC : they wouldn't be the same without him!

But behind that adorable Cat-mask, hides a wonderful man, a man with many talents : Jamie Murray!

Jamie has been a rock singer for about ten years. After that, he had his own glamour and fashion photography business (for 15 years) until he moved on to illustrations.

Then he was employed at a TV Station where he worked occasionally as a cameraman, and where he was in charge of the tape library : it was his job to make sure the programs are in-house and ready for air.

Then he moved again - he moved from Texas to New Hamshire and married the love of his life, Jo.

We also know Jamie as a wonderful artist : his work is simply magnificent. He has created some wonderful Beauty and the Beast Artwork for us to enjoy. But that's not all ... there are also his Star Trek, Babylon 5, Deep Space 9, Fantasy, etc. paintings ...

Jamie Murray, and his counterpart, Myhr, have become a part of our Beauty and the Beast family, so that's why I would like to add these pages to my site. I hope you will enjoy them!
