You can find a few old BATB commercials here.

If it were your job to make 10-, 20-, or 30-second promo for Beauty and the Beast, what would you put in it? Tell us, or even better, make your own vid, upload it on youtube and post the link here for us to see!

I think these promos are fascinating. I don't know what I would do instead (thinking about it) but these just seem kind of odd -- a little bit out of keeping with the tone of the show itself. What do you all think?

Those commercials

I like commercial #1, (without the eye!) with Linda. When I first heard her say she saw ugliness I thought for a moment she was speaking of Vincent!! That could NEVER be because I know he was always beautiful to her. True beauty can be hard to 'see' sometimes. Love makes the focus clear. I have to see the rest of these! Thanks for making them available - they are new to me.

Commercials and...

Is it possible to locate any (and all - why not all!) TV interviews Ron and Linda did...perhaps on talk shows...to publicize the show in those early days? I was thinking that someone found the commercials and that perhaps the interviews might also be available to the right(detective) persons?

LOL! Well, what a coincidence that you should ask. If you go to my youtube page, there are a bunch of 'em, and more coming. :-) http://youtube.com/results?search_query ... rch=Search

Have we met before, hanklove? I don't recognize your name from the yahoogroups.

jecris, thanks so much

Hi,
No, I don't usually post on any lists but I was happy to join this one after hearing about all the hard work that went into it. How wonderful it is to be part of something so exciting. Are you very active in the other groups?
Thank you so much for replying to my question. It's a cold, rainy, icy, snowy, windy day here on LI...what better time to spend with Vincent and Catherine...until my power goes out!!!
Thanks again so much for your kind response, jecris!

I'm fairly active on both bbtv and the guttercoffeeshop, both of which have just been hopping lately! Hard to keep up! LOL.

jecris, I had no idea how extensive your site was...I'm not terribly handy with a mouse/keyboard and I tend to find things accidentally. .unless someone (thanks, ES) puts them in front of me! But your interviews with Ron are wonderful!! Didn't Linda do as many? I liked her carefree persona in the interview where they discussed (!) baseball!
I know that bbtv is very popular and with contributors like you I can understand why!
Thanks again!

But your interviews with Ron are wonderful!
They've been a group effort. None of them are "mine". Annette, Tunnelmom, and Moira all contributed interviews. Annete and TM converted VHS to DVD. TM, Jennifer and I each did some editing. And I've been uploading. (Did I miss anyone?)
Didn't Linda do as many?
It doesn't look like it, does it? Or maybe those who recorded them preferred the Ron ones? No idea really. Anyone?
I know that bbtv is very popular and with contributors like you I can understand why!
You are just confusing the heck out of me! I have no idea what to do with that kind of praise. Are you campaigning to be president of my fan club? ;-)
I understand you were one of the founders of BATBLand
Where are you getting this information? From that invisible Italian? Sobi and I went in on the website together, and gabi and Elaine have been a great help in getting things off the ground. :-)
