Yes! Changing up to a round robin sounds interesting! I'd be willing to give it a try with either one, or both, of the ladies you suggested!

I may have suggestions, but only if it is still a pleasure for you.
If you want, we can very well discontinue it, no problem.
Or continue it in English. Or I continue it in Italian. Or suspend it for a while.
Or ask Rosemarie Salvatore, who is always trying to practice her Italian (remember the wfol Round Robin?) to join. Also Odile, coming to think of it, who's already part of this forum.
Yes! We could invite them and continue it as a "round robin".
As you like it... :)
I think we did a nice job so far.

*sigh*

Okay, I'm stuck again.

I really don't have a plan or anything to explain to Catherine.

We've got a key to a time capsule that is located in the basement of a sorrowing elderly lady, and a desire to bring a taste of Winterfest to her...somehow...and three friends conspiring in a subway tunnel...and I simply am not sure how to connect the dots.

Suggestions?

 So sorry,

Zara

Blurg. "Alcuni" was a typo. But thanks for the little explanations along the way! Good helps! *keeps staring at her book of verbs, hoping something will eventually sink in...*

*
Keep practicing is the only way to let it sink in, I think.
Io capisco che tu vuoi scrivere
"I would like to give Mrs Tina the shoe box she contributed to the time capsule, all those years ago. And perhaps we can bring a little of Winterfest, too," Vincent said.

"troppo" is "too much". I understand you meant "too" only = "anche", which normally is not placed as last word.

"Che si fa?" is a way to say "What are we going to do?"

"questa" is a way to mean that she does not know the woman.
Perhaps you'd say "this Mrs Tina person"?]

Thank you. I like the convolutions! I just misread them, ha ha. Let's see if I can trim out the Dimitri bit and make it cohere...

Tanta storia raccolto".

No, no need. Perhaps it’s I who should make my post in English. I basically meant:

“Honeycomb Caverns?” Sebastian asked, truly surprised. “[You mean…] Ms Tina’s basement?” he added with an unusual streak of uncertainty in his voice. And quickly putting his persona in place again, he declaimed with fervor and appropriate waving of hands: “The Honeycomb caverns! The dream of every tunnel children! (…) where curious bees swarming from tunnels explore every nook and cranny, sucking the sweet nectar of knowledge and fantasy...”

A little convoluted, I fear. I was looking for a way to connect our three friends to Tina.
{The chamber of Dimitri is mentioned again in the script of Ashes Ashes, from the quick look I took of it. I was working at making the relevant page for BatBforever when the frozen mail stopped me. I think it is explained that Ellie and Eric had made there a "house" where to play, that's why Eric goes there to write.}

Oops. I missed that meaning. I was thinking you meant deep treasure troves beneath Signora Tina's basement. Part of the Tunnels geography.

Sebastian's description made me think of the chamber of obviously unused yet collected objects that appears in "Ashes, Ashes" (and no other episode).

Should I still make the English post, or rewrite to correct my/Vincent's sense of setting?

There are a few things I don't understand exactly. Would you write this paragraph in English, to help me understand and correct it accordingly?
Just to be sure - in my paragraph I meant that Le Caverne del Favo (Favo is the honey conglomeration, yes?) is the name given by the tunnel children to Signora Tina's basement, okay? I hope Sebastian's (and my) speech was not too obscure...

I suoi occhi divennero tristi.
