Hi y'all, I'm new. Been looking for some place where I could talk about my obsession.
How long did I wait to see the last two episodes of the 2nd season? Way too long.
I felt like there was a conspiracy against me seeing it!
I was in the Air Force Reserve at the time the show was on and I went to England for nearly a month and missed the end of the 2nd season. My husband was supposed to record it for me but forgot. I figured 'no sweat, I'll catch it in reruns', but that was the summer our local CBS affiliate decided to change to NBC, and it's a small town and we only had two TV stations at the time, so no luck.
Several years later I was in Denmark and caught part of "The Rest is Silence" and "Walk Slowly" on Danish TV, but the problem was it was dubbed in Danish, the pictures were nice. Again I was on a military trip so I was in the NCO Club on a Danish Air Base and a Dane who was sitting at the table with me was trying to translate, but we were both confused.
When I finally got a computer and got on the internet I started doing searches to find the VHS tapes but I never had much luck on that. Finally last summer, on one of my regular searches I found the DVD of the first season. Oh joy! Then the second season and finally the third. I'd always known what happened, but it was good to finally see it first hand.
