The only other country with regularly organized conventions is UK and  I believe there were a couple of cons organized in Germany years ago.

in the rest of the world, the fans do meet occasionally, but in small, informal groups. Like the few 'microcons', with a very small yet international attendance that took place in the last years.

In Paris 'Beast on the Seine' 2004 Microcon  Where we attended a Ren Faire in the medieval city of Provins and saw Vincent (who else?)

There is Winterfest Online

WFOL is a  week-long online celebration. In 2009, sixth WFOL already, it's NOW, February 7th to 15th. It gathers fans from the whole world, as attested by the candle map, where every fan can light their winterfest candle. Games, fic, art, activities, videos,  surprises, there's a lot to do, watch and listen to. The Wintercandlemakers who organize it spare no efforts, but many things found there have been sent by the participants. WFOL is an interactive feast! apporte.
