. . .four women who had never met before attended a convention. They shared a hotel room for a few days and forged a strong bond.  Three of them are writers, and the fourth has been a wonderfully appreciative reader--one of those folks who are necessary to make writers feel worthwhile. The three writers, together with another friend, a marvelous artist, wanted to give something to the fourth--and decided to connect it to their roommate's favorite episode--"A Fair & Perfect Knight"--because, like the Velveteen Rabbit, our friendships are real. . .and will last for always.
