A writing challenge

Well, first of all, a confession: this challenge was born of a "gasp!" at seeing, and subsequent furious daydreaming about, the "inspiration" you are going to be presented with. And of the hope to see some of such daydreaming in the shape of beautiful B&B stories.

Below you'll find some links. If you follow them, they'll show you a painting of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, an extraordinary art piece, different from most of his works - but we are not afraid of difference, are we? (If you have a slow internet connection, be aware that the image files are large.)

You can easily find information about Van Gogh on the web. This special painting is in New York City, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is located in Central Park... and in its left bottom corner is something that singles it out, and may trigger daydreaming... or fanfiction writing...

The paiinting on the MET wall. A very detailed image of the painting.
